Peggy obtained a B.Comm in Accounting and Entrepreneurship from McGill University in October of 1996. she then went on to earn a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy in 1998. She worked as an auditor for 3 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, participating in the audits of some very well-known multinational corporations, including CAE, Abitibi and Alcan.

Peggy realized early on that her dynamic personality and creative nature did not quite mesh well with the accounting and audit world and that she would much better be suited to a marketing environments. She therefore called up her former business partner, Lara, which led to the re-birth of Time Out Publications, now known as MAGMONTO PUBLICATIONS INC.

Lara graduated from McGill University with a B.Comm in Finance and Marketing and brings over 14 years of experience in sales. She managed very large accounts for CRC Press and Auerback Publications in Boca Raton, Florida, and for Process Power Solutions and Productivity Point in London, Ontario. Even with all this experience under her belt, one of the most memorable highlights of her career was when a client from Disney World, Florida, volunteered to give Lara and her family a tour of Epcot to thank her for her work.

Lara is happily married and lives in Thornhill, ON with her husband and 3 children Kiley, Jace and Harris. Having spent most of her life in Montreal Lara is very excited to be living in Toronto and very thrilled about Magmonto’s expansion into a new market.
